Specializing in photographing the American western experience both traditional and contemporary, Flash & River have photographed thousands of horses, cowboys, cowgirls and wildlife across the west from Texas to Wyoming finally settling in Bozeman, MT. The Untamed Image has truly dedicated themselves to capturing the essence of life and the rural western experience.clayanda.promophoto

Better Horse Photography Blog is a final combining of over 40 years of photography experience between the husband and wife team. The couple has specialized in Western & Equine for the past 10+ years and also went under the name “iHorsePhotomedia” to blend more with the English horse shows. Now under one roof, the Untamed Image now offers a full service photography including portraits, events, commercial and western & wildlife art. Their photography has been published high-end print publications such as Midwest Magazine and Cowboys & Indians. The Untamed Image is currently based outside of Bozeman, MT. where Flash and River continue to pursue their passion of creating art of the iconic west. They happily live in the mountains with their two dogs.
